Industrail Spray Painter (Semi-trailers)

Full-Time Industrial Spray Painter

ATS Tough Trailers / Auswide Transport Solutions is looking for a motivated, reliable, and experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our growing team for an immediate start.

This is a full-time position working primarily on semi-trailers, chassis, mezzanine floors, and heavy vehicle components.

Key Responsibilities

• Spray painting semi-trailers, chassis, components, and fabricated parts

• Surface preparation including sanding, linishing, cleaning, masking, and caulking

• Mixing and applying primers, 2K paints, topcoats, and protective coatings

• Operating and maintaining spray guns, pressure pots, compressors, and related equipment

• Inspecting finished work and completing touch-ups and rectification

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area

• Meeting production schedules while maintaining high-quality finishes

• Following all PPE, safety, chemical handling, and workplace procedures

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as an Industrial Spray Painter

• Experience with heavy vehicles, trailers, machinery, or large fabricated components

• Good understanding of surface preparation and industrial painting processes

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, hardworking, and productive

• Good communication skills

• Full working rights in Australia

Desirable

• Spray painting or relevant trade qualification

• Forklift licence

• Experience with 2K and industrial coating systems
