Polywelder – North Brisbane

About Us

Pipeline Assets Australia is an HDPE pipeline company delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients. We're looking for an experienced poly welder to join our team on a full-time basis — North Brisbane based.

The Role

We want someone who takes ownership of their work. You'll be running butt and extrusion welds on HDPE pipe and fittings, in the field and workshop, and you'll be trusted to get it right the first time.

Responsibilities

•              Butt & extrusion welding on HDPE pipe and fittings

•              Read and interpret drawings/specifications

•              Conduct pre-weld inspections, joint preparation, and post-weld quality checks

•              Work safely on all sites, following site safety protocols

•              Complete weld logs, QA/QC documentation, and traceability records

•              Troubleshoot on-site welding issues and ensure joints meet Australian Standards

 
What We're Looking For

•              Proven experience as a poly welder – Butt, Extrusion, EF

•              Someone accountable — you own your outcomes, good or bad

•              Positive attitude and a genuine problem solver

•              Current welding certification/qualification

•              Confined space (Desirable)

•              Complimentary machinery tickets (Desirable)

•              Comfortable working independently or as part of a site crew

•              Current driver's licence and White Card

•              Old-school work ethic: turns up, gets it done, does it properly
