Aurex Group is partnering with a privately owned boutique architecture firm to appoint a business development professional to join their team as part of their growth strategy. Known for their design led residential work and collaborative approach, the studio has ambitious plans across the Australian market and is seeking a like-minded professional to help build on this success. Aurex Group is searching on behalf of the studio for someone who can bring both commercial drive and an understanding of the residential design sector.
Responsibilities: - To be considered for this position, you must have a successful track record in a business development or client-facing role, ideally within architecture, design, interiors, or the broader built environment. Working across all major Australian cities, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with private clients, developers, and referral partners, and supporting the growth of the firm's residential project pipeline.
- Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be expected to be proactive, commercially minded, and confident in identifying, connecting, and converting leads.
- If successful, you will be part of an environment that encourages development and progression, with the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute directly to the firm's continued expansion.
Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a business development, client relationship, or similar commercial role within the residential build sector, ideally with strong connections across architects, builders, developers, consultants, or other service providers
- An understanding of the architecture, design, or residential construction sector
- An appreciation for the residential project lifecycle
- A tertiary qualification in a related subject matter would be advantageous
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- Self motivated and organised
