Delivery and Installation Technician

About the role

Eagle Flooring & Blinds is seeking a skilled Delivery and Installation Technician to join our team in Lonsdale, SA 5160. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional flooring and blinds solutions to our valued customers. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our products are delivered safely and installed to the highest standards, directly impacting customer satisfaction and our reputation in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport flooring and blinds products to customer locations, ensuring proper handling and protection of materials throughout transit

• Assist with installation of window furnishings in accordance with manufacturer specifications and customer requirements

• Measure, assess and prepare installation areas to ensure optimal outcomes and customer satisfaction

• Provide professional customer service during installations, addressing questions and concerns with courtesy and expertise

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Document installations accurately and keep records of work completed

• Collaborate with the team to meet delivery schedules and manage time efficiently across multiple jobs

What we're looking for

• A valid driver's licence and reliable access to transport for deliveries

• Ability to tow, unhitch and hitch a trailer

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients

• Physical fitness and capability to lift and carry heavy materials safely

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of health and safety protocols and a commitment to safe working practices

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different installation environments
