About the role
Therapeutic Guidelines Limited is an independent, not for profit organisation established almost 50 years ago by leading members of the Australian healthcare community. Over time, Therapeutic Guidelines has evolved into Australia's leading digital healthcare publisher, delivering trusted resources including Therapeutic Guidelines, Australian Prescriber, Don't Rush to Crush, and ObesiD.
We are looking for a Marketing & Events Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing. This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of how TGL connects with the healthcare community, coordinating events and conferences, keeping our social media channels active and engaging, and supporting the broader marketing team across campaigns, content and customer service.
You will manage the end-to-end delivery of online and in-person events, from webinars to conference exhibits, while also helping shape how TGL shows up on social media and across our website. It is a genuinely varied role for someone who enjoys juggling logistics one day and content creation the next, with plenty of exposure to the full marketing mix along the way.
This role is business critical heading into TGL's busy conference season later in the year, so we are keen to find the right person and get them settled in quickly.
About you
You are organised, personable and comfortable working across several priorities at once. You enjoy the operational side of events as much as the creative side of content, and you are just as happy coordinating venue logistics as you are scheduling a week of social media posts. You bring a collaborative mindset, a good eye for detail, and genuine enthusiasm for representing an organisation at industry events.
