MC Driver

About the role

KS Gordon Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced MC Shuttle Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a high-capacity vehicle on an overnight express route between Mackay and Townsville (return), Queensland. What you'll be doing

1. Safely operate an MC-class vehicle on the Mackay to Townsville route, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

2. Load and unload the vehicle as required, ensuring efficient and secure transportation of goods

3. Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation, in compliance with company and industry standards

4. Show excellent time management skills to be able to complete the requirements of the role

5. Provide excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

1. Must hold a valid MC driver's licence, LF forklift licence and a clean driving record .

2. Candidates with the ability to operate under BFM preferred

3. Preference for candidates with at least 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably in a line haul or long-distance transport role

4. Candidates that have operated in an overnight express capacity previously

5. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

6. A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of safe driving practices

7. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment

8. Australian work rights are required for this position
