ABOUT THE ROLEThis role sits at the intersection of finance, governance and strategic support. As the Business Services Accountant, you'll oversee the financial reporting and governance activities of JCU's controlled entities, ensuring accurate financial information, robust compliance practices and effective board operations. From preparing financial and management reporting to coordinating governance cycles and company secretariat activities, you'll help provide the information, insights and support needed for confident decision-making across the portfolio. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the consistency, efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and governance practices.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLEYou are a financially astute and highly organised professional who can confidently navigate complex accounting, reporting and governance environments. You bring strong analytical capability, sound judgement and the ability to translate financial information into clear and meaningful insights for a range of stakeholders.
