Job Details

The Enterprise Analytics and Technology Services section is seeking two Azure Cloud Platform Infrastructure Engineers with experience managing cloud-hosted infrastructure using infrastructure as code to support data and analytics workloads.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed solution design, development and implementation of Azure infrastructure supporting data and analytics workloads.
• Manage infrastructure through a Terraform-based infrastructure as code deployment model.
• Work with Azure-hosted data and analytics platforms, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Web Apps and Logic Apps.
• Implement Azure security features covering networking, Identity and Access Management, and policy.
• Develop and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design and implement Advanced Analytics and AI solutions.
• Deliver and/or administer Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or other analytical services.

Essential Criteria

1. Experience designing, building and maintaining cloud hosted platforms and services (Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service) — 25%
2. Experience developing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure using an infrastructure as code (IaC) approach — 25%
3. Understanding of cloud security features for platforms and services such as Identity and Access Management, Networking and Policy — 20%
4. Experience working in Data and Analytics focused projects (Data Engineering, Storage or Data Science) — 15%
5. Working with multi-disciplinary teams using an Agile methodology — 15%

Desirable Criteria

1. Experience work with Data Lake
2. Experience working with Geospatial platforms
