Mechanical Vegetation Solutions is a well-established South Australian company delivering arboriculture and vegetation management services to Government, Councils, civil contractors, commercial and private clients.

Our firewood production division, Firewood Solutions, operates modern processing equipment and supplies high-quality firewood across South Australia.

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Yard Hand / Firewood Processor to join our team.

The Role

• Operating modern firewood processing machinery

• Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance

• General yard work, housekeeping and equipment organisation

• Supporting supervisors and operational crews

• Loading/unloading materials

• Occasional deliveries or equipment transport using company vehicles

What We're Looking For

• Loader, Excavator, MR or HR licence

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Reliable, self-motivated and safety focused

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Highly Regarded (but not essential)

• Experience in arboriculture, forestry, landscaping, firewood processing or yard work

• Experience operating processing equipment or machinery
