About the role
Lead strategic projects. Shape practice. Create better outcomes for children, young people and families.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where strategy and practice come together.
As General Manager – Practice Leadership & Innovation, you’ll work closely with the Deputy CEO Community Services to turn big ideas into meaningful action – leading complex strategic projects, developing new and enhanced service models, building evidence-informed business cases, and ensuring high-quality practice is embedded across Community Services.
At the same time, you’ll lead our highly skilled Practice Lead team, providing the direction, oversight and influence needed to strengthen practice quality, service fidelity and continuous improvement across our programs.
This role is based in Burswood, with travel required across all sites. Early November start date preferred.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll have a genuinely varied portfolio, including:
About you
You’re a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture and work out how to make it happen.
You’ll bring senior experience in trauma-informed practice with children, young people and families, alongside experience in leadership, program development and/or strategic project delivery. You’ll be confident moving between executive conversations, complex projects, practice leadership and stakeholder relationships. You know how to take an idea, test it against evidence, build the case, bring people with you and turn it into something that works in the real world.
We’re looking for someone with relevant tertiary qualifications, senior experience in trauma-informed services, strong leadership and project skills, excellent communication, a commitment to cultural safety, and the ability to lead change and deliver quality outcomes.
Why Parkerville?
If you’re ready to take on a role where your strategic thinking, practice expertise and leadership can make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Applications close Monday 7th September, but we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis. We reserve the right to close this position earlier.
