About the role
Radiology Victoria (RV) is excited to offer a 12 month Nuclear Medicine and PET Fellow/Trainee position. The fellowship covers aspects of Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging and will be based at our Epworth Hospital practices in Richmond and Freemasons.
The OpportunityOur 12-month Fellowship program is designed to accelerate your career as a Nuclear Medicine Specialist. You will work closely with highly skilled imaging specialists, gaining hands-on experience and insight into advanced practices. There are opportunities to engage with other specialists at our various MDMs. The program also provides a unique opportunity to engage with and experience our workplace culture, setting you up for long-term success in your career.
The hospital-based imaging departments of our practice at Epworth Richmond, Freemasons and Geelong provide care to both inpatients and outpatients across all modalities, including Angiography, Intervention, Bone Mineral Densitometry, Computed Tomography, Dental X-Ray (OPG), General X-Ray, MRI, 3D and Contrast Mammography, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine, incorporating PET CT.
We also have community-based sites at Knox, Burwood East and Ashburton.

Training opportunities
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will require:
A medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) which is recognised for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Minimum post-Part II FRANZCR exam and 4+ years of radiology registrar training; or post-Part II FRACP exam and successful completion of Basic Physician Training
Trainee or Fellow of relevant medical college (RANZCR or RACP).
Demonstrate a high level of effective and appropriate communication skills
Be patient and referrer focussed
Demonstrate a growth mindset and ability to be part of a highly functioning team
Have the capacity to present Radiology Victoria in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholders
Have a clear understanding of the service delivery models within the private healthcare sector
Completion of mandatory checks including reference, recent Police Check, Working with Children’s Check, up-to-date immunisations (Influenza), and CPR accreditation.
