Care Manager - Our Lady of Loreto Garden Hamlyn Terrace

Location - Our Lady of Loreto Garden - Hamlyn Terrace Permanent Part-time 2 days a week Pay rate – $64.00 - $68.50 per hour + superannuation Not-for-profit employer, so pay less tax! Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will be providing clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams.  About the Role: Ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and procedures Providing leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomes Working in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards Working as 2nd in charge to the Residential Manager To be successful in this role you’ll need A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others Strong customer centric approach to business Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Competent IT skills including full Microsoft suite Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance What we can offer you Competitive hourly pay rate Not-for-profit tax benefits Fitness Passport gym benefit Paid parental leave Long service leave after 5 years Additional week of leave for Enterprise Agreement shift workers 40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you decide to move A values based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds We know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
