HR Drivers

Our comprehensive services include general and perishable freight exports, import services, eCommerce processing, cold chain handling, customs broking, transport, and warehousing.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our Sydney team in Chipping Norton.

• Safely and efficiently complete pick-ups and deliveries throughout the Sydney metropolitan and surrounding regional areas.

• Pick up from and deliver to warehouses, airport terminals and wharf ports.

• Complete delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Conduct daily vehicle pre-start inspections.

• Comply with all WHS policies, road transport regulations and company procedures.

• Maintain a clean and professional presentation of both the vehicle and yourself.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coordinators and customers.

• Complete timesheets and related paperwork accurately.

• Deliver excellent customer service while working as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver Licence with a clean driving record.

• Minimum 1 year of HR driving experience.

• Experience driving manual transmission HR vehicles is preferred.

• Previous freight transport experience.

• Container transport experience (preferred).

• ASIC and/or MSIC card (preferred) or willingness to obtain.

• Good knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan area.

• Strong understanding of load restraint, fatigue management and speed management.

• Excellent communication skills and a positive team attitude.

• Reliable, punctual and physically fit.

• Full working rights in Australia.

• Ability to commence immediately or on short notice is highly regarded.
