Full Time Boilermakers/ Metal Fabricators/Welders

FWR is an Australian Made and Owned manufacturer of Heavy Haulage Trailers based in Wacol & Larapinta Brisbane.

We are seeking experienced Boilermakers, fabricators and Welders for full time positions.

This role will require you to work as part of a team and independently where required, covering medium to heavy fabrication. 

Previous experience within a manufacturing and fabrication workshop is advantageous yet not essential.

To be successful you need to have the following 

• Trade Qualification or have been in a similar long term position

• Experience with MIG welding

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to read drawings, work to a time frame and complete tasks with a high-end finish

• Ability to follow instructions and follow through on all tasks

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, management and team

• Available for long term work commencing immediately (or after notice period)

• Must have an eye for detail and strong work ethic

• Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and quality

• Practices safe work and is health and safety conscious

• Must have a positive approach, high energy level and enthusiasm for the job

• Attendance, punctuality and reliability are a must!

• High quality workmanship and communication skills
