Day-to-day tasks include conducting thorough client assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering remedial, deep tissue, and relaxation massages, and maintaining accurate treatment records. You will educate clients on self-care strategies, stretching, and posture to support ongoing recovery and wellbeing. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe treatment space, coordinating appointments, and collaborating with other wellness professionals as needed. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC.Qualifications Relevant qualification in Remedial Massage (e.g., Diploma of Remedial Massage) and eligibility for professional association membership.Demonstrated skills in remedial, deep tissue, and relaxation massage, including assessment and treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions.Strong client communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment plans, obtain informed consent, and provide clear after-care guidance.Ability to maintain accurate clinical notes, manage appointment schedules, and follow clinic protocols and hygiene standards.Current First Aid and CPR certification, and willingness to comply with workplace health and safety requirements.Professional indemnity and public liability insurance, or willingness to obtain these before commencing.Comfort working with diverse clients and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practice.Availability to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends as agreed with the studio.
