Medical Receptionist/Administration

About the role

The role will include managing the phones, emails, taking payments, and providing the highest standard of customer service. You will support the daily running of the clinic on a permanent part-time basis, 3 days a week, approximately 20-22 hours per week. Working hours are between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. Additional hours may be required when covering annual leave for other staff.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones and email enquiries from patients and other health professionals
• Process new referrals
• Schedule theatre bookings and procedures
• Book patient appointments
• Prepare clinic sheets and documents for consulting sessions
• Prepare daily theatre list and correspondence
• Replenish stock for procedures

About you

• Ability to work under pressure and highly resilient
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• A high level of attention to detail and initiative
• Medical software experience in Genie is essential
• Previous experience with HPOS and PRODA would be advantageous
• Minimum of 2+ years of medical reception experience
• Must have own car
