Educator Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Break Cover Educator to join our warm and supportive team at Berowra Cottage Early Learning.

This is a key part-time role (3 days per week) that plays an important part in the smooth running of our service. You will provide consistent break cover across the rooms, support programming and documentation, and step in when educators are off the floor to maintain ratios and high-quality care for our children.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated educator to provide consistent break cover and support across the service. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and continuity of care for our children.

Hours of work:

• 3 days per week - can be flexible

• Available shifts: 9:00am – 3:00pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality break cover for educators across the rooms

• Support programming and documentation as required

• Assist when staff are off the floor to maintain ratios and quality care

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth and consistent day for children

• Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

Essential Requirements

• Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Current Working with Children Check

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility and the ability to work across different age groups

• Commitment to high-quality care and education
