Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end software releases across multiple teams and environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in release planning, stakeholder coordination, risk and dependency management, deployment readiness, and continuous improvement of release processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate BAU, minor, major, and hot-fix releases across multiple technical and business teams.Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, from release planning and scheduling through deployment and post-release activities.Coordinate release approvals, change management activities, deployment windows, and stakeholder communications.Ensure all release readiness criteria are completed before production deployment.Coordinate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Operations, DevOps, Product, and Business teams.Identify and manage risks, dependencies, constraints, and potential release conflicts.Develop and maintain rollback/backout strategies to minimize production impact.Track release milestones, deliverables, approvals, and dependencies.Facilitate release readiness meetings, go/no-go discussions, and deployment coordination.Monitor release progress and proactively communicate blockers, risks, and delays.Ensure appropriate change tickets, approvals, testing evidence, deployment plans, and release documentation are completed.Must-Have SkillsStrong experience in Release Management / Release Coordination.Experience planning and coordinating BAU, minor, and hot-fix releases.Proven experience managing end-to-end release processes.Strong stakeholder and cross-functional team coordination skills.Experience managing release approvals and communications.Strong understanding of release readiness and deployment processes.Experience managing risks, dependencies, issues, and rollback strategies.Experience with Change Management / ITIL processes.Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.Ability to coordinate multiple releases and teams simultaneously.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
