Position: Contract Administrator
Location: Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast
Projects: Medium Rise Multi Residential Construction
Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience
Job Summary:
The Contract Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contract administration for projects, ensuring that operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and profitably. This role requires a thorough understanding of contract management, procurement processes, and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
As an integral part of our team, the Contract Administrator is responsible for the following key areas:
Contract Management:
Administer head contracts, including handling progress claims, time management, financial administration, and change management.
Oversee project procurement, manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
Coordinate and manage project documentation and correspondence.
Project Coordination:
Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of project deliverables.
Provide support to the Project Manager and Site Manager in all aspects of the project.
Maintain communication with clients and consultants to ensure project goals are met and relationships are strengthened.
Financial Management:
Monitor and report on project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and administration.
Ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualification in construction management, quantity surveying or related field.
Proven experience in contract administration or project management.
Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software
