Service Manager - Automotive

Rex Gorell Family Group has an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to join our multi-franchised dealership located in Geelong. 

Working within a fast paced and high volume vehicle repair & maintenance department, this role involves leading a team of advisors, technicians, and administrative staff whilst working collaboratively with all internal departments to maintain the highest level of customer service.

General responsibilities will involve:

• Planning, scheduling and monitoring daily activities of the service department and analysis of results to aim for uncompromised quality of service.

• Ensure efficient delivery and pick-up of customer vehicles

• Maintain, order and monitor all required workshop tools/equipment and parts in line with business guidelines and policies.

• Assist with diagnosis of vehicle problems.

• Provide technical support to sales teams as required.

• Ensure ongoing training and performance management of the service team.

• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staff comply with OH&S requirements. 

You will be self motivated in delivering customer satisfaction and achieving CSI, be articulate in explaining vehicle service requirements/outcomes, have exceptional presentation and leadership skills to manage daily workshop operations.

Demonstrated experience using retail DMS Systems, vehicle service knowledge and/or mechanical experience will be highly regarded.
