THE ROLE

Join our team as a Recruitment Officer on a permanent full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to focus on blue-collar recruitment and support the organisation's operational and project workforce needs. You'll be part of an established and collaborative Human Resources team, working alongside our experienced Business Support team who will provide ongoing support and guidance as you develop your skills and make a meaningful impact.

Duties include but not limited to;

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar roles across Australia and international locations
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support ongoing and future workforce needs using ActionHRM
• Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to assess candidate suitability and support recruitment planning
• Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Coordinate interviews and ensure a professional and positive candidate experience
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with pre-employment and onboarding requirements
• Oversee onboarding and induction processes, ensuring all required documentation and training is completed
• Ensure position descriptions are current and assist in the development of new role profiles when required
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Stay up to date with industry trends, compliance standards, and best practices to support quality hires
• Other duties as requested by the Human Resources Advisor

THE PERSON

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
• Proven blue collar or high volume recruitment experience preferably within mining, construction or engineering
• Confident stakeholder engagement with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Sound knowledge of employment laws, Equal Employment Opportunity and recruitment best practices
• Experience using ActionHRM or other HRIS systems
• Ability to coach and influence hiring managers
• Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation
