About the role
We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Inspector to conduct planned and responsive safety inspections across construction, electrical, civil, and maintenance projects. You will identify non-compliance with work method statements and legislative requirements, issue inspection reports, and support the Principal Contractor's WHS obligations.
Key responsibilities: Weekly site inspections using structured checklists, hazard identification and documentation, contractor compliance verification, environmental and site controls monitoring, and inspection reporting to Site Supervisor and PCBU.
Requirements: National Construction White Card, WHS Induction Card, current First Aid Certificate, minimum 3–5 years site safety experience, working knowledge of SafeWork NSW Codes of Practice and SWMS, and familiarity with contractor prequalification schemes (CM3, Avetta, Rapid Global). Trade or construction background preferred.
You are: Detail-oriented, impartial, physically capable of site work, and able to communicate findings clearly and professionally. Valid driving licence required for frequent site visits.
Reports to: Site Manager / Principal Contractor's HSEQ Manager.
Pay: $54,805.03 – $95,000.00 per year
