About the role

What you'll do
As the Principal Technology Officer, you will provide high-level ICT technical expertise, support and administration across key technology domains, including End User Computing, Servers, Telecommunications and Networks, ensuring the effective operation of services that support Queensland Health's business needs. You will lead and mentor technical staff, coordinate the activities of suppliers and support personnel, and assist in prioritising workloads to meet enterprise service levels. Working both independently and as part of a broader team, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders, represent eHealth Queensland in communications with senior Health Service staff and on local committees, and contribute to informed decision-making through technical reporting, analysis and advice. You will also support quality assurance initiatives, manage ICT assets, oversee third-party service arrangements, and ensure adherence to ICT change management practices and organisational standards.
