Are you an experienced civil pipe layer looking for long-term stability in the Top End? Randstad has partnered with a premier civil construction contractor to secure a skilled Underground Utilities Specialist to join an established team in Darwin.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering essential local infrastructure projects across the region. Working on everything from major subdivision developments to deep drainage and water reticulation systems, your expertise will help build the foundation of Darwin's growing community.

About your next role

• Installing and securing stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation pipework safely and efficiently.

• Reading, interpreting, and working directly from civil drawings, site plans, and pipe layouts.

• Working within trenches while strictly adhering to safe excavation, trenching, and shoring practices.

• Collaborating daily with machine operators and ground crews to achieve timeline targets and maintain exceptional job quality.

What you will need to bring

• Proven hands-on experience in civil pipe laying, underground utilities, or commercial plumbing.

• Strong ability to work safely around heavy plant and inside deep excavations.

• High attention to detail, a proactive safety mindset, and a dependable work ethic.

• Additional tickets such as HR Licence, plant operations (excavator, loader), or experience with vacuum excavation and CCTV inspection units will be highly regarded.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Construction Induction Card (White Card).

• Valid C-Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
