Inventory Pharmacy Technician (Corrections)

HPS is seeking a motivated and reliable Inventory Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a non-patient facing role focused on managing medication inventory and supply operations across a network of correctional health sites throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.

You will play a vital role in ensuring medicines and pharmacy stock are available where and when they are needed, helping support healthcare services delivered within correctional centres. This position offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across multiple locations while being part of a supportive and growing healthcare organisation.

A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle are essential, as regular travel to correctional centres across Melbourne and regional Victoria is required.

• Manage pharmacy stock levels across multiple correctional health sites
• Coordinate stock replenishment, inventory transfers and distribution activities
• Conduct stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records
• Monitor stock usage and identify replenishment requirements
• Support procurement and supply chain operations
• Ensure compliance with medication storage and inventory management procedures
• Build strong working relationships with site stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and efficiencies

• Previous pharmacy technician, inventory or healthcare supply experience desirable
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Proficient computer and inventory management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current Australian driver's licence (mandatory)
• Access to a reliable motor vehicle (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel across metropolitan and regional Victoria
