The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Multi Agency Panel Secretariat to provide a critical role within the Post Sentence Branch.
About the Business Unit
Corrections Victoria manages Victoria's adult corrections system and works to enhance community safety through the safe management and rehabilitation of offender
The Post Sentence Branch provides oversight of Victoria's post-sentence scheme, supporting the management of serious sex and violent offenders subject to ongoing supervision or detention under the Serious Offenders Act 2018.
The Multi Agency Panel brings together executive representatives from DJCS, the Department of Health, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, and Victoria Police to coordinate service responses, manage risk, and resolve complex cross-agency issues.
About the Role
The Multi Agency Panel Secretariat supports the effective and efficient operation of the Multi Agency Panel and serves as a central point for information sharing and interdepartmental liaison. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Multi Agency Panel Secretariat, the Senior Coordinator works with a broad range of stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and support the development, monitoring and review of coordinated service responses.
Please note in this role you will be exposed to sensitive and explicit material relating to serious sex and serious violent offending on a regular basis.
