HR Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised HR Administrator to join our team and provide essential HR and administrative support across our construction business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is confident dealing with employees, candidates and managers, and takes pride in keeping HR processes organised, accurate and compliant.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide day-to-day HR administration support across our office and construction workforce.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing employee records, files and HR documentation
• Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Maintaining employee data and HR systems
• Assisting with recruitment, including candidate screening, coordinating interviews and reference checks
• Coordinating inductions, medicals and training
• Monitoring employee certifications, qualifications and compliance requirements
• Supporting performance management and employee relations processes
• Maintaining HR policies, procedures and documentation
• Providing general HR support and guidance to employees and managers
• General administration and reporting as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in HR administration, ideally within construction, engineering, trades or a similar industry
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident and professional when dealing with employees at all levels
• Able to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Strong in written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
• Tech-savvy and confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems (experience with Employment Hero HRIS highly desirable)
