Metro Assist is seeking a Korean-speaking Bilingual Health Navigator to help people with limited or no English proficiency access health and social support services with confidence.

Metro Assist is strengthening and evolving its service delivery model as part of a broader period of organisational integration and growth. This role will contribute to accessible, culturally responsive services and constructive partnerships with Korean-speaking communities.
About the roleThe Multicultural Health Navigator Program supports people with limited or no English proficiency to access health and social support services. Working with Korean-speaking clients, you will conduct intake assessments, identify needs, provide referrals and individual support, and help clients build the knowledge and confidence to navigate services more independently.
You will also promote the program through community outreach and Korean-language presentations, recruit eligible participants, maintain accurate client records and reporting, and work closely with Metro Assist, Advance Diversity Services and community partners.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position until 30 June 2027, with commencement as soon as possible. The role is onsite and client-facing, based across Bankstown and Campsie. Working days and hours will be agreed by mutual arrangement.

The salary is SCHADS Award Level 4, currently $50.71 to $54.56 per hour plus superannuation, depending on experience and relevant qualifications. Generous salary packaging options are available to increase your take-home pay, and additional paid wellbeing leave days are provided to all staff. The successful applicant will receive ongoing support and supervision and have access to our confidential Employee Assistance Program offering a range of wellbeing support.
