Trades Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join the team at Toowoomba Saw Service.

This is a full-time workshop role involving the sharpening, repair and manufacture of saw blades, knives and cutting tools. No previous saw doctoring experience is required, but you must be mechanically minded, willing to learn, comfortable with physical and repetitive work, and able to take pride in doing things properly.

The position has the potential to lead into a formal apprenticeship for the right person.

We’re a small, busy family-run workshop, so reliability, initiative, attention to detail and a good sense of humour are essential.
