The role of Sous Chef at the Terrigal Pavilion Precinct is to support the Executive Chef in managing the overall kitchen operations across all food outlets in the precinct.  The Sous Chef plays a crucial role in overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring high standards of food quality, assisting with menu execution, and leading the team in the Head Chef’s absence.

The Sous Chef has a sound understanding of every role in the Kitchen Team and knows how to leverage the overlapping of these positions to ensure maximum output and efficiency from the team.

This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  Central to this role is the capability to drive performance (individual & business), uphold operational standards (precision & quality) and deliver on all compliance based requirements in regards to food safety.
