CUSTOMER SERVICE & ADMINISTRATION – SECURITY TRADE WHOLESALINGBGW Technologies in Geebung (part of the BGW Group of Companies) is currently seeking a Customer Service & Administration team member to support our security trade wholesaling branch. This role involves a structured mix of customer service and operational administration, with some minor warehouse duties, in a fast-paced trade wholesale environment.The successful candidate will support the branch through customer order processing, supplier purchasing, accounts administration, and general day-to-day operations, while providing professional service to customers across face-to-face, phone, and email channels.About BGW Technologies BGW Technologies is an industry leader in sourcing and distributing world‑class security technology products to the trade. The Role This position supports daily branch operations and is primarily focused on administration, customer service, and workflow coordination, with occasional involvement in warehouse activities during busy periods.It is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks, while still being willing to support hands-on operations when required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Customer Service & Order Support - Assisting trade customers at the counter, via phone, and email - Processing customer orders and pricing requests - Building and maintaining positive customer relationships - Supporting the sales team and branch management
Administration & Accounts- Entering and managing orders, invoices, credits, and backorders - Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records- Following up outstanding customer payments- Coordinating returns and repair processes - Maintaining accurate records and branch processes
Operations Support (as required)- Assisting with picking, packing, and dispatching orders - Supporting receipt of incoming stock - General warehouse support during busy periods
Skills, Experience & Attributes - Strong organisational and administrative skills- High attention to detail and accuracy- Confident communication skills (written and verbal)- Comfortable working with systems and learning new software- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively- Reliable, practical, and team-focused approach- Willingness to support warehouse operations when required- Interest in technology and willingness to learn product knowledgePrevious experience in security distribution business or trade supply environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
