About the role
We're looking for a friendly, organised, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care, and being part of a supportive and professional team.

About the RoleAs a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive outstanding care from the moment they walk through the door. You'll provide chairside assistance to our clinicians while also supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice through reception and administrative duties.
No two days are the same, and you'll enjoy a varied role where you'll make a real difference to our patients' experience.
Availability must include open to working Saturdays
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide chairside assistance to dentists, hygienists, and oral health therapists.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before and after procedures.
Maintain exceptional infection control and sterilisation standards.
Assist with dental materials and equipment during procedures.
Support digital radiography (where appropriately trained).
Deliver post-operative instructions and patient support.
Monitor and maintain clinical stock levels.
Welcome patients and create a positive first impression.
Manage appointments and patient records.
Answer phones and respond to patient enquiries.
Process payments and maintain accurate accounts.
Provide administrative support to the clinical team.
You'll be someone who enjoys helping others and thrives in a team environment. Ideally, you'll have:
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or willingness to learn).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring and compassionate approach to patient care.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail.
Good computer skills and confidence learning new software.
The ability to work well both independently and within a team.
