About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Day Program Team Leader to join our team and lead the delivery of meaningful, engaging, and person-centred programs that support participants to achieve their goals and build greater independence.The Day Program Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of support staff, coordinating daily activities, ensuring quality service delivery, and creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where participants can learn new skills, connect with the community, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
Key Responsibilities:• Lead and support the day program team to deliver high-quality participant-focused services• Coordinate daily activities, programs, and community participation opportunities• Ensure activities align with participants’ goals, interests, abilities, and NDIS plans• Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to team members• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants• Monitor service quality, documentation, incident reporting, and compliance requirements• Build positive relationships with participants, families, support coordinators, and stakeholders• Identify opportunities to improve participant experiences and program outcomes
About You:• Experience in disability services, community programs, or NDIS environments• Strong leadership and team management skills• Passion for supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals• Excellent communication and organisational skills• Ability to develop creative and meaningful activities• Understanding of person-centred practice and NDIS service delivery
