The Role
We are seeking a Transport & Resource Allocator to join our Spray Seal division, based in Yatala. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for allocating transport and plant to meet project requirements, assigning driver schedules and liaising with suppliers and customers to maximise efficiency and effective utilisation of resources.
Key Responsibilities Include
Planning and coordination of all trucking movements, crew, plant and subcontract resources to meet project requirementsCommunicating relevant information to drivers, internal and external stakeholdersMaintaining compliance with Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management policies and legislation Understanding and complying with HVNL, route planning, and access requirements for all scheduled plant and equipment movesCoordinating with the Workshop team to facilitate availability of plant and equipment for R&MCoordinating with the Safety team to ensure WHSEQ performance and outcomes Assisting in the collection, sorting, & filing of NHVAS & Plant Equipment paperworkOther duties as required
About You
Key experience and knowledge considered for this role:
Previous experience in similar roles and industries Ability to deal effectively with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Chain of Responsibility, HVNL, Load Restraint & Dangerous GoodsKnowledge of transport and logistics scheduling Sound computer skills (MS Office), and ability to learn new systems Strong written & verbal communication skillsStrong team player
