About the role
As a Service Technician for the New South Wales region, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical services for Gravotech customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
Deliver on-site and remote technical support (via phone, online, and PC) to customers.Carry out installation, commissioning, and operator training for new equipment on-site.Service, troubleshoot, and repair machines at customer sites and at the main office.Perform fault diagnosis and on-site repairs to ensure quick problem resolution and customer satisfaction.Drive the sales of service offerings by promoting extended warranties, equipment rentals, machine reconditioning, maintenance contracts, and training sessions.Assist in managing and controlling spare parts inventory within the department.Support colleagues in the department when needed.Collaborate with the Sales team, providing technical support to help them achieve their sales goals.
Candidate Profile :-A background in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering is preferred.3 to 5 years of experience in technical assistance, repairs, customer service, or as a mobile technician.Proficiency in computer tools (Office Suite is required; CRM, ERP, or CAD software is a plus).Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, and automation (preferred but not mandatory).Ability to work effectively under pressure.Willingness to travel extensively (5 days a week).Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.Team player with excellent customer relationship skills.
