Change Manager

Profectus is seeking experienced Change Managers to support the delivery of organisational change within an agency of the Australian Government. The work covers change and communication planning, stakeholder engagement, training and readiness activity across ICT enabled change initiatives. You will work with business areas and project teams to plan change, prepare people for new processes and technology, and report on adoption and benefits.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop and deliver change initiatives in collaboration with business and project stakeholdersDevelop and implement change management strategies and plans covering communications, training, stakeholder engagement and impact analysisDesign and deliver communications approaches that support lasting adoptionDevelop and deliver training to affected stakeholdersReview project plans and identify the change activity required for successful deliveryComplete change readiness assessments and present findings to business unitsPrepare risk treatment plans to address business risks and concernsMonitor and report on business readiness, adoption, benefits realisation and use of change initiativesIdentify performance gaps and put corrective actions in placeSupport business units to carry out change activity through a range of channelsDeliver communications through digital adoption software solutionsProvide mentoring, coaching and training to build capability across teamsMaintain accurate project documentation and records in line with agency governance requirements
Required ExperienceDemonstrated experience developing change and communication management plans for projects and other change initiativesExperience defining, developing and communicating the change management approach for a significant organisational changeExperience in an organisational change management role working within a PRINCE2 or Agile delivery environmentProven delivery of organisational change management in an ICT environmentFormal qualifications in organisational change management from a recognised tertiary institution, or equivalent demonstrated skills and experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage competing prioritiesDemonstrated problem solving, flexibility and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to initiate, plan and lead large change initiatives and deliver to time and quality standards
Desirable ExperienceExperience delivering change within Australian Government or other large, highly governed organisationsExperience with digital adoption platforms and other change enablement toolsExperience working across concurrent projects within a program or portfolioExperience mentoring and developing change capability in others
Security Clearance RequirementsMust be an Australian CitizenMust hold or be able to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance
