Blenders/ Batching operators - FOOD processing

The Role: Manufacturing Operator / Blender - ideal minimum 2 years experience and interested to learn.

The role will be within our manufacturing facility and will attend to weighing, batching and blending of spices and herbs.

Duties:

• Prepare plant and equipment in accordance with relevant SOP’s.
• Follow Job Sheets and carry out formulations with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comply with all general safety directions for the workplace
• Ensure that all plant and equipment used is in good safe working order eg; machine guards are in place.
• Ensure that all raw materials are QC approved before using.
• Ensure all raw materials being returned to the store are done so in the prescribed manner.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 20 kilograms
• Experience in Food Manufacturing (desirable)
• Able to follow instructions.
• Able to multitask and to foresee and avoid problems
• Able to work independently, in a safety and quality conscious manner, with a team
• Must have own safety shoes
• Must have own Transport.

Forklift licence advantageous.
