Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant - South Launceston Chiropractic

Immediate start, role to commence early August. Approximately 18-25 hours per week.

South Launceston Chiropractic is seeking an experienced Receptionist or Chiropractic/Allied Health Assistant to join our clinic.

This role is best suited to a mature, reliable professional with proven experience in a similar medical, chiropractic, physiotherapy, or allied health reception role.

We are not seeking entry-level applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing patient reception in person and over the phone
• Scheduling and coordinating appointments using practice management software
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting the chiropractor with daily clinic operations
• Maintaining a professional and organised front desk environment
• Liaising with off-site support and administration teams as required

Essential Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar receptionist or allied health administration role (required)
• Strong employment history demonstrating reliability and commitment
• Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft 365
• Experience with practice management software (preferred)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Highly organised, punctual, and detail-focused
• Ability to work independently within established systems
• Availability for consistent, ongoing rostered shifts

You are a stable, experienced professional who is confident managing a busy reception environment. You take pride in your work, follow processes, and are looking for a long-term position rather than short-term or transitional employment.
