Crafty’s is a market leader in its unique offering in a fun casual category, serving some of the best premium casual fare on the Gold Coast, and delivering top notch service. This role will suit someone who is passionate and wants to elevate standards within a team environment.
We are looking for a Strong and Passionate Head Chef and Sous Chef to join in the execution of a large-scale kitchen operation. The successful candidates must have a passion for hospitality, highly organised, be a team player and be able to bring a positive attitude.
The Role:
Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong focus on delivering consistently high standards through every service
Highly organised and can plan and execute services
Resilient, quick thinking & pro active
Part of a large team that has a strong focus on positivity and balance in the workplace
Good understanding of financial controls regarding the kitchen
To be successful you must have:
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a mid-sized kitchen team
Solid experience running high-volume production across busy service periods
Strong leadership presence with a positive, solutions-focused approach
The ability to work with speed, precision and cleanliness across all services
Sound knowledge of food safety and OH&S requirements
Confidence directing and mentoring junior staff at varying skill levels
A working understanding of kitchen financials including food cost and budgeting
