ESP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our client at their Campbellfield facility.

This is a hands-on role within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment, primarily responsible for spray painting pipe, steel frame modules and fabricated components, along with assisting with general workshop duties when required.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

• Industrial spray painting of steel pipes

• Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, masking and general preparation

• Mixing and preparing paints and coatings as required

• Applying coatings to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish

• Inspecting completed work for quality and coverage

• Touch-ups and rectification where required

• Moving materials and components around the workshop

• Assisting with general workshop and production duties when required

• Maintaining spray painting equipment and keeping the work area clean

• Following all workplace safety, PPE and quality procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous industrial spray-painting experience

• Experience painting steel, structural components or fabricated products highly regarded

• Good knowledge of surface preparation and spray-painting techniques

• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

• Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment advantageous

• Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality

• LF Forklift Licence highly regarded, but not essential
