MR Truck Driver

Southern Skip Bins is a family owned and operated skip bin hire business based in Somerton Park, SA.

We service Adelaide and all surrounding areas, providing reliable skip bin delivery and waste removal services for residential, commercial and construction customers.

Due to steady growth we are seeking an experienced MR or HR truck driver (manual licence) to join our team.

We operate a well maitained fleet and pride ourselves on safety, reliability and delivering the best customer service.

About the Role

This role involves the safe & efficient operation of skip bin truck across Adelaide metro areas.

Key duties include:

• Driving MR/HR skip bin truck for deliveries & collections

• Sorting of bins in yard to maximise waste efficiency

• Safe loading, placement and removal of skip bins on site

• Completing daily runs as allocated by scheduler

• Meet daily & weekly KPI expectations including run completion times & customer service

• Conduct basic vehicle checks, pre- start inspections and daily / weekly cleaning of vehicle

• Provide professional & corteous customer service

• Working independently to complete scheduled routes effectively & efficiently

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable, safety focused and have pride in your work, with strong customer service skills.

• Current MR manual licence (minimum requirement)

• Minimum 3+ years of truck driving experience required

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

• Good communication & customer service skills

• Strong attention to safety & detail
