Are you interested in using your property expertise to help create and maintain safe, fit-for-purpose accommodation for young people in Brisbane?
Brisbane Youth Service is seeking an experienced property, construction, asset management, architecture, engineering, or facilities professional to join its Property Subcommittee as an Independent Member.
The role
This voluntary role is a practical opportunity to contribute specialist advice to property decisions that support safe accommodation, effective services, and long-term impact. You’ll be a great candidate for this role if you meet the following essential criteria:
Not-for-profit, community services, youth accommodation, capital works, social infrastructure, or Queensland property compliance experience will be highly regarded.
Given the work that we do there will be a few non-negotiables. You’ll need to be able to have, or obtain prior to commencement:
Commitment
This is a voluntary role. Meetings are usually held quarterly, Attendance is online or in-person in Fortitude Valley. Occasional Board meetings, site visits, additional committee meetings or project briefings may be required.
