Casual School Bus Driver – Mount Richmond Run (Portland)

RD & PC Down Pty Ltd is a small family-owned business that has proudly provided a dedicated school bus service for local families for many years. We are looking for a reliable and friendly casual driver to join our team.

This position would suit someone looking for regular school-term work, such as a semi-retired driver, truck driver, farmer, or anyone wanting to supplement their income while making a positive difference in the local community.

About the role

• Morning run: Approximately 7:00 am – 8:30 am
• Afternoon run: Approximately 3:20 pm – 5:00 pm
• School terms only
• Casual position with regular work available
• Additional work may be available to cover leave

Our Mount Richmond service transports students safely between the Mount Richmond district and Portland each school day. As we operate a single bus service, you'll work independently while being well supported by our family business.

What we're looking for

• Reliable and punctual
• Safety-focused with a professional attitude
• Able to work independently
• A confident and courteous driver

Essential requirements

• Current MR Licence (or higher)
• Driver Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a commercial driver medical if required
• Good driving record

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
