Junior Kitchen Hand – Full Time

Next Door Espresso is looking for a reliable, energetic Junior Kitchen Hand to join our BOH team.

This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to start their career in hospitality, learn from experienced chefs and develop their kitchen skills.

The role includes:

• Dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised

• Basic food prep and food handling

• Making açaí bowls, milkshakes and other items

• Assisting chefs during service

• Restocking fridges, cold rooms and kitchen stations

• Receiving and moving produce and stock

• General kitchen cleaning and organisation

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a great attitude and strong work ethic

• Is happy to get stuck in — including doing dishes!

• Is reliable, punctual and works well in a team

• Can work quickly in a busy environment

• Is physically capable of lifting and moving produce boxes and stock

• Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean and organised

• Is keen to learn and build a career in hospitality

Experience isn’t essential — attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are more important to us.

Monday–Friday position with full-time hours available for the right person.

Free staff meal on eligible shifts.
