About the role
At RTS Training, we've trained over 50,000 students across the infrastructure, energy, electrical and education sectors. With over a decade of experience and continued growth, we're committed to delivering practical, hands on learning that prepares people for real world situations.
We're proud of our reputation for excellence, but what truly sets us apart is how we facilitate learning. We believe people learn best through participation, discussion and real world application, not by sitting through long presentations. Across all of our courses, we create engaging, student led learning environments using practical scenarios that encourage learners to think critically, apply their knowledge and build confidence in a safe and supportive setting.
We're currently seeking a qualified Full Time Trainer and Assessor to join our growing team.
Why join RTSAt RTS, we don't just employ trainers, we develop exceptional facilitators. You'll be supported by an experienced team, facilitate engaging learning experiences across a range of nationally recognised courses, and have the opportunity to continually build your skills in a collaborative environment.
Working with us means you'll enjoy:
A supportive, team focused culture.
A variety of First Aid, Fire and Construction courses.
Family friendly hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with no weekend work.
Ongoing coaching, mentoring and professional development.
Modern facilities and high quality training resources.
Genuine career progression opportunities as RTS Group continues to grow, including the chance to expand into emergency preparedness training
The opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping people build practical, life saving skills.
As a Full Time Trainer and Assessor, you'll facilitate engaging learning experiences across one or more of the following training areas: First Aid, Construction and Fire Safety.
At RTS, we don't believe in standing at the front of a room delivering content. We believe the best learning happens when learners are actively involved. Using practical scenarios across all of our courses, you'll guide discussions, encourage participation and create student led learning experiences that prepare learners to confidently apply their skills in real workplace situations.
You'll facilitate a variety of nationally recognised courses, maintain high training standards and become a valued, permanent member of a supportive, collaborative team committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences. As we grow, there's also the opportunity to develop into emergency preparedness training, working across evacuation planning and emergency control organisation courses.
What we're looking forWe're looking for someone who:
Brings energy and enthusiasm to every class.
Takes pride in facilitating a consistent, high quality learning experience.
Is a confident communicator who enjoys helping people learn.
Is approachable, professional and committed to safety and quality.
Holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
Has experience delivering First Aid courses.
Experience delivering Construction and/or Fire Safety training is highly regarded.
Comes from, or has experience in, industries such as construction, electrical, emergency services, healthcare, mining, defence or aviation.
Is passionate about facilitating learning and creating engaging, student led learning environments.
Is looking for a stable, full time role with genuine career progression.
