Executive Officers

The Data and Evaluation Group and Family Safety Group have two vacancies and are seeking experienced and high performing officers to undertake the role of Executive Officer. In this role you will provide a range of high-level executive, secretariat and project support services to your Group.

We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, flexible and possess excellent organisation and communication skills in order to progress complex and often competing tasks in a fast-paced environment to align to the strategic direction of the wider Stream.

• work as part of the executive team to provide high level strategic briefings, input to Stream requests, advice and support the Group Manager, often on complex and sensitive issues
• work with other business areas and senior managers to implement strategic and operational initiatives for the Group and Stream
• oversee, review and report on the activities of the Group as necessary, to ensure it is operating effectively
• act as contact and facilitation point for other executive officers, Deputy Secretary's office, senior staff or Ministers' offices
• identify and address potential opportunities, risks and emerging issues that affect the Group and Delivery and Data Stream
• prepare strategic fit for purpose correspondence, briefs, documentation, talking points, reports and submissions, including on complex and/or sensitive issues, and drive work to completion in a timely manner
• review and analyse data to inform the development of correspondence, briefs, documentation, talking points, reports and submissions
• provide secretariat services as required.

The selection panel may use CoPilot to assist in creating the interview assessment commentary for the selection report. Selection panel members will take notes during the interview, with these combined and summarised by CoPilot. 

The selection panel will review the proposed assessment commentary and amend if required, to reflect their assessment.
