About the Role:

Tidal Solutions is currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Painter Blasters to join our shutdown crews. If you take pride in your trade and are committed to a high standard of safety and quality, we want to hear from you. This is a casual shut-down position with the opportunities for permanent roster for the right candiate.

Duties include but are not limited to,
Carrying out surface preparation through blasting, applying protective coatings to prevent corrosion, and performing inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Conducting maintenance and touch-ups on site assets and safely operating blasting and painting equipment in line with site safety requirements.
  

Role Requirements:

·         Australian Recognised Trade Certificate

·         Valid Driver’s C-class Licence

·         Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry

·         Ability to pass pre-employment medical.

·         All applicants must have the right to work in Australia.

Highly Regarded:

·         RTIO Inductions

·         Experience in a mining environment

·         NACE 1 or higher

·         National Police Clearance (within 3 months validity)

·         MSIC

·         VOCs (Verification of Competency)

·         HRWL (LF, EP)

·         Basic Fire Safety Training

Skills & Experience:

·         Previous experience in industrial blasting and painting

·         Relevant certifications in blasting and painting

·         Ability to complete inspection reports

·         Proficiency with blasting and painting equipment

·         Knowledge of different types of coating and their applications

·         Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

·         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
