Building Inspector - Remote

Home Integrity is growing, and we’re looking for experienced WA Registered Building Practitioners to join our residential inspection team.

This is an opportunity to use the knowledge and judgement you’ve built throughout your career - without managing trades, programs, budgets or construction sites.

You’ll inspect both pre purchase residential homes under construction, identifying defects and other issues, and give homeowners and industry professionals clear, practical guidance on the findings. 

Your experience will directly contribute to better building outcomes and help raise the standard of residential construction across WA.

Be home on time  No overtime and no after-hours site management. Complete your inspections and finish your working day with your evenings intact.

Your judgement matters  Work independently, take ownership of your inspections and make sound technical decisions -with the support of an experienced team and robust processes.

Focus on the technical work  Our scheduling and administration teams manage the behind-the-scenes coordination, allowing you to concentrate on inspecting, reporting and communicating your findings.

Variety every day  Inspect different properties, construction stages and building issues across pre-purchase and new-home construction inspections.

Salary of up to $120,000 inclusive of superannuation, plus a $15,000 annual vehicle allowance.

• Registration as a WA Building Practitioner.
• Strong residential construction experience.
• Sound technical knowledge and professional judgement.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
• The ability to explain building issues to homeowners, builders and other industry professionals.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Inspection experience is welcomed but not essential for the right person.
