Plant Operator - Concrete

Based at our Pakenham plant, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated plant operator to join our high performing and committed team. As the newest member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking both operation duties and administration tasks

As a Plant Operator, you will be at the heart of our concrete production processes, ensuring that our plant runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll operate and maintain machinery, monitor production metrics, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Your Day will involve:

• Operating a forklift to maintain general yard duties
• Managing daily administration, including stock control and reporting.
• Inspecting and maintaining plant equipment and trucks.
• General housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.

What we are looking for?

• A strong safety focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound computer skills for batching, reporting, and stock management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Pro-active attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
• Availability to work shift work
