About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Electrochemist / Electrochemical Scientist to join a growing electrochemical technology development team working on advanced fuel cell, electrolyser, hydrogen, and related electrochemical technologies. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant field and at least 5 years of post-PhD professional experience.
This is a strongly hands-on laboratory and technology development role for an experienced scientist who can combine deep technical expertise with practical experimental capability.
The successful candidate will be expected to work directly in the laboratory, independently design and conduct experiments, analyse electrochemical performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the development, scale-up, and commercialisation of electrochemical technologies.
Experience in technical presentations, preparation of proposals and funding applications, customer or partner engagement, and supporting investor or stakeholder discussions will be a significant advantage. We are particularly interested in candidates who can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
